Pulsed Power Manufacturing Engineer (Pulsed Power)

Location: Denver, CO; full-time onsite at the headquarters

What you will do

• Provide design-for-manufacturing and design-for-assembly input to simplify production processes and tooling.
• Translate engineering designs, drawings, and configurations into functional hardware for testing, qualification, and use.
• Create and maintain work instructions, routings, validation procedures, and material planning inputs.
• Improve manufacturing quality, cost, build sequences, throughput, and production schedules.
• Support assembly operations hands-on, including repair, rework, non-conformance disposition, and equipment operation.
• Maintain hardware configuration and build pedigree while validating safety procedures for high voltage, oil handling, and radiation-related operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or aerospace engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of direct manufacturing or manufacturing engineering experience in an R&D environment.
• Experience creating manufacturing work instructions for fabrication, assembly, testing, or integration.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing principles, GD&T, quality control, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Proficiency with CAD tools, including Siemens NX, scheduling and issue-tracking software, and Microsoft Office.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee. Ability to work on the manufacturing floor, climb stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 40 pounds is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with pulsed power systems or a similar laboratory environment.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior manufacturing engineers and technicians.
