Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and optimize manual and automated manufacturing processes for safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
• Analyze manufacturing methods, labor utilization, workstation layouts, and production standards to improve operational efficiency.
• Lead or support lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, cost reduction, capital equipment, and budget planning initiatives.
• Define tooling and fixturing requirements, coordinate supplier modifications, and support tooling validation.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment, minimize downtime, and support model year changes, product launches, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with design engineering, assembly, fabrication, paint, and new product engineering teams while providing technical guidance to process technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or related engineering.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, production systems, labor studies, process documentation, tooling, fixturing, and production standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software, including AutoCAD, Creo, and SolidWorks.
• Understanding of statistical process control, with strong project management, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and work onsite in Huntsville; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
