DFT Architect (Silicon Photonics)

Location: Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA; full-time onsite position

hirify.global is developing silicon photonics and programmable metasurface technology for energy-efficient AI inference hardware.

What you will do

• Own DFT architecture and test-control design for multiple ASIC devices using ATPG, scan, MBIST, and boundary scan/JTAG.
• Architect on-die memory test, including controller specifications, pattern selection, RAM grouping, and system test-time and power analysis.
• Define wafer-level, package-level, system-level, and product-qualification DFT plans, including MCM and external HBM memory modules.
• Build and deploy an integrated DFT development flow with metrics supporting rapid analysis, updates, and near-100% test coverage.
• Specify functional test vectors and analog self-test and loopback requirements in partnership with RTL, physical design, analog, operations, and package teams.
• Own coverage signoff and the handoff to post-silicon testing and the production-level test plan for OSAT.

Requirements

• 8–15 years of DFT experience with hands-on ownership of scan, ATPG, and MBIST.
• Architect-level experience assessing a full digital ASIC, setting DFT strategy, and owning coverage signoff.
• Track record through tapeout on a complex compute ASIC and experience developing functional test vectors.
• Experience specifying analog tests directly with analog design teams.
• Cadence toolchain experience.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Austin, Texas, or Sunnyvale, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with silicon photonics testing or design-for-test for photonic components.
• Experience using AI tooling in DFT flows.
