What you will do

• Build and operate photonics and optoelectronics test setups.
• Characterize photonic devices, submodules, and modules.
• Own test plans, instrumentation, and measurement data analysis.
• Diagnose hardware performance issues and failure mechanisms.
• Perform thermal and temperature-dependent validation.
• Develop manual and automated measurement workflows from device to system level.

Requirements

• Experience with photonics, silicon photonics, or optoelectronics testing.
• Ability to design and run hardware characterization experiments.
• Experience with instrumentation, test planning, and data analysis.
• Ability to work hands-on across device, module, and system-level validation.
• Availability to work fully onsite in Berkeley, California.
