What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate workers fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping, fixtures, and industrial equipment.
• Assign workers to specific duties and coordinate daily work activities.
• Inspect completed processing systems for compliance with specifications.
• Train new workers in the use of equipment and tools.
• Supervise work on high-pressure systems and maintenance or repair operations.

Requirements

• Work authorization in the US is required; employment is subject to Form I-9 and E-Verify procedures.
• Four to ten years of specific job training in the techniques and facilities required for the position.
• Ability to perform physical work involving occasional exertion of 20–50 pounds, frequent exertion of 10–25 pounds, or continuous exertion of up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to apply rational systems and solve practical problems involving limited standardization.
• Competence in beginning algebra, geometry, ratios, percentages, and related commercial calculations.
• Ability to read safety rules, equipment instructions, mechanical drawings, and layout procedures; write reports and letters; and speak correct English confidently before an audience.
