Actuarial and Consulting Internship Programme – Summer 2027 - Belfast

Location: Belfast, United Kingdom; interns are expected to work in the hirify.global office five days a week during the internship.

What you will do

• Carry out calculations for individual pension scheme members and client organisations.
• Build and check financial models using statistical methods.
• Review data, explain findings and research business and market developments.
• Draft clear client communications and supporting materials.
• Support client work and attend team or client meetings where appropriate.
• Share knowledge and ideas to help improve service delivery.

Requirements

• Be in the penultimate year of a full-time university course and expect to graduate in 2028.
• Be available to start full-time employment in September 2028.
• Students from any subject are welcome; non-numerical degree students need Mathematics at A level grade B or higher, or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrate mathematical and problem-solving potential during the recruitment process.
• Show careful analysis, clear communication, organisation, collaboration and openness to feedback.
• Be able to work in the United Kingdom without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
