Global Transaction Banking Summer Intern (Banking)

What you will do

• Support global bank relationship management and coordinate transaction banking and capital markets solutions.
• Help deliver payment, clearing, deposit, cash management, and trade finance solutions for institutional and corporate clients.
• Research clients, prepare briefing materials, support presentations, and identify commercial opportunities.
• Assist with pricing, approvals, onboarding, transaction execution, and coordination with Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
• Analyse client activity and business performance, maintain portfolio information, and support AML/KYC reviews, limit renewals, and follow-up actions.
• Contribute to market research and strategic initiatives involving payments, digital assets, deposits, trade finance, clearing, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, engineering, physics, or a related subject, with expected graduation in 2027.
• Interest in transaction banking and financial services, demonstrated through studies, extracurricular activities, or relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, organisation, prioritisation, critical-thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
