Actuarial and Consulting Internship Programme – Summer 2027 - Leeds

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom; interns are expected to work in the hirify.global office five days a week during the internship.

hirify.global provides pensions actuarial and consulting services, supporting clients with dechirify.globalns about pension schemes through mathematics, data, and clear communication.

What you will do

• Carry out calculations for individual pension scheme members and client organisations.
• Build and check financial models using statistical methods.
• Review data, explain findings, and prepare clear communications and supporting materials.
• Research business and market developments.
• Support client work and attend team or client meetings where appropriate.
• Share knowledge and ideas that help improve service quality.

Requirements

• Be in the penultimate year of a full-time university course and expect to graduate in 2028.
• Be available to start full-time employment in September 2028.
• Students from any subject are welcome; non-numerical degree students need Mathematics at A level grade B or higher, or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrate mathematical and problem-solving potential during the recruitment process.
• Show interest in mathematics, finance, problem-solving, learning, collaboration, communication, accuracy, and constructive feedback.
• Be able to work in the United Kingdom without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
