Actuarial and Consulting Internship Programme – Summer 2027 - Croydon

Location: Croydon, UK; interns are expected to work in the hirify.global office five days a week during the internship.

hirify.global provides pensions actuarial and consulting services, supporting clients with pension scheme dechirify.globalns through mathematics, data and clear communication.

What you will do

• Carry out calculations for individual pension scheme members and client organisations.
• Build and check financial models using statistical methods.
• Review data and explain findings clearly.
• Draft client communications and supporting materials.
• Research business and market developments and support client work.
• Attend team or client meetings and contribute ideas to improve services.

Requirements

• Must be in the penultimate year of a full-time university course and expect to graduate in 2028.
• Applications are welcome from students studying any subject.
• Students studying a non-numerical degree must have Mathematics at A level grade B or higher, or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated mathematical and problem-solving potential is required.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, communication, collaboration and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to work in the UK without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Previous pensions or actuarial work experience is not required.
• Interest in mathematics, finance and solving problems.
