Analyst, PFI (Infrastructure Finance)

What you will do

• Support infrastructure finance mandates and client relationships across transport, transmission, district heating, digital, and value-add infrastructure sectors.
• Review due diligence materials and legal documentation while coordinating questions with technical, commercial, financial, insurance, and legal advisers.
• Prepare business proposals, credit and business approval requests, loan recommendations, company information documents, presentations, and pitch books.
• Lead financial modelling for debt advisory and coordination pitches, including financing tabs and sensitivity analysis.
• Perform ratings analysis using methodologies from S&P, Moody’s, Fitch, KBRA, and DBRS, and support credit ratings, deal economics, KYC, and compliance processes.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative client and industry analysis, maintain databases, and support investor presentations and client meetings.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree preferred in finance, economics, engineering, or a complementary discipline.
• Debt advisory experience with the ability to build financial models from scratch and perform sensitivity analysis for credit assessment and underwriting.
• Experience with a major credit rating agency or relevant ratings advisory work.
• Knowledge of business, accounting, economics, and/or finance, supported by strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong computer literacy, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg, plus clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United Kingdom is required; a valid work or study permit may be required.
