2027 Actuarial and Consulting Graduate Analyst

Location: Hybrid, based in the Glasgow office, UK; minimum four days per week in the office during the first few months, then two or three days per week.

What you will do

• Apply actuarial concepts to calculate the value of pension and other employee benefits.
• Build financial models and perform risk analysis on future pension commitments.
• Support pension strategy, risk management and longer-term client objectives.
• Explain the impact of accounting, tax and legislative changes on pension schemes.
• Prepare analysis and communications, attend client meetings and follow up agreed actions.
• Contribute to new business proposals and improvements to ways of working.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or higher-level qualification completed by 20 September 2027, with a 2.1 or higher, or expected equivalent result.
• Applicants from any degree subject are welcome; non-numerical degree holders need Mathematics at A level grade B or equivalent.
• Strong mathematical skills and an interest in finance and actuarial concepts.
• Ability to analyse information accurately, communicate clearly, organise time and work collaboratively.
• Must be able to work in the UK without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Previous pensions or actuarial work experience is not required.
