Data Protection Specialist (OneTrust)

Location: Remote, UK

Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum or £80,000–£100,000 per annum, depending on the listed contract or permanent engagement.

What you will do

• Configure and implement OneTrust for data protection assessments, consent management, and workflow automation.
• Improve data protection processes through practical technology and system-based solutions.
• Develop and optimize assessment workflows and self-service assessment models.
• Work with data protection, technology, and business teams on system implementations.
• Explore AI, APIs, and automation to make data protection processes more efficient and data-driven.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in data protection, privacy, or a similar field.
• Hands-on experience configuring and implementing OneTrust.
• Experience with OneTrust assessment workflows or self-service assessment models.
• Strong practical knowledge of cookies, cookie management, and consent management platforms.
• Understanding of workflows, APIs, and process automation.
• Experience delivering data protection system implementations and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

• Interest in using AI to optimize and automate data protection processes.
