Sales Application Engineer (Telecom)

Location: Remote within Canada; must be physically located and work remotely from Ontario and/or British Columbia. Occasional attendance at hirify.global sites and travel to customer locations may be required. Relocation to Ontario and/or British Columbia is required before the start date if currently residing elsewhere in Canada.

Annual salary: CAD 251,630–355,240, depending on location and experience.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical support resource for hirify.global sales accounts.
• Identify customer needs and develop tailored technical solutions with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations.
• Prepare technical presentations, product demonstrations, proposals, quotations, and documentation.
• Evaluate customer specifications, recommend products, and support RFQs, product selection, and technical feasibility.
• Manage technical discussions, design reviews, project planning, product introductions, and qualifications with customer engineering teams.
• Drive design wins, monitor industry and competitive trends, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, Field Applications Engineering, or Technical Sales.
• Experience supporting customers in telecommunications or networking, including RAN, cloud RAN, fixed and optical networks, IP routing, cloud, and network infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of hirify.global data center, client, and edge products, as well as CPUs, ASICs, GPUs, custom silicon, ASSPs, and AI solutions.
• Proven ability to drive design wins or OEM qualifications, interpret technical specifications, and translate customer requirements into effective solutions.
• Must be located and work remotely from Ontario and/or British Columbia, Canada; English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with major telecommunications OEMs.
• Knowledge of AI, 3GPP RAN/5G, wireless and wireline infrastructure, networking equipment, or data center technologies.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Project management experience.
