Senior Finance Developer (Python)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Base salary: $220,000–$250,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Lead a team of onshore and offshore developers.
• Build and maintain full-stack finance applications using Python and Dash.
• Develop APIs, backend services, and integrations with data platforms.
• Work with Snowflake, AWS RDS, and related database technologies.
• Collaborate with product, data, engineering, and senior Finance stakeholders to solve business problems.
• Debug, optimize, test, and deliver scalable features across frontend, backend, and data layers.

Requirements

• Location: New York, NY, United States.
• Strong experience with Python, REST APIs, SQL, Snowflake, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Git, and modern development workflows.
• Experience building finance tools and dashboards and working directly with senior Finance stakeholders.
• Experience with AWS or cloud infrastructure, plus exposure to Docker or CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, coding, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, high-performance environment and own projects end-to-end.
