Senior Developer (Python Django)

Location: Remote within Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, Georgia, or Florida; offices in North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Phoenix, Arizona. Travel between office locations may be required.

What you will do

• Build scalable and resilient web applications, APIs, mobile solutions, SaaS applications, and enterprise automation integrations.
• Design APIs, data models, and backend components with the Product Owner and frontend or mobile developers.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, background jobs, and performance-oriented systems.
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications and cloud infrastructure using CI/CD, AWS, Azure, Terraform, and DevOps practices.
• Conduct code reviews, diagnose root causes, document requirements and architecture, and estimate and plan project work.
• Mentor less experienced developers and promote readable, maintainable, performant, and secure coding practices.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience designing software architecture.
• Extensive experience building web applications and APIs with Python and Django.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Django REST Framework, secure RESTful API design, caching, queueing, logging, Celery, and Flower.
• Experience with authentication, social authentication, MFA, GitHub or similar version control, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Docker, and observability tools.
• Experience with AWS and Azure infrastructure, Terraform, frontend technologies, Vue 3, and data analytics or ML/AI platforms.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship. Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
