Field and Service Technicians (Natural Gas)

Location: Must live within 25 miles and 30 minutes of 1610 Eastgate Pkwy, Gahanna, Ohio, or 3550 Johnny Appleseed Ct, Columbus, Ohio.

Salary: $34.62–$38.01 per hour

What you will do

• Install, repair, and replace natural gas distribution mains, services, meters, regulators, and related facilities.
• Operate and maintain construction equipment, tools, and service equipment.
• Investigate gas leaks, odors, outages, service issues, and customer concerns.
• Test service and house lines, adjust gas appliances, and turn customer gas service on or off.
• Transport equipment and materials, support construction and maintenance work, and respond to emergencies.
• Provide guidance to customers, contractors, and plumbers regarding gas service installations.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• High school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, and ability to use hand tools.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather, respond to emergency calls, and work scheduled or unscheduled overtime.
• Ability to obtain and maintain company certifications and Operator Qualifications.
• Ability to pass pre-employment assessments, physical capability testing, drug screening, motor vehicle record review, and background screening.

Nice to have

• Plumbing trade experience, especially with natural gas systems.
• Experience reading gauges and dials.
• Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain one where required.
