Field Service Technician (Cryogenic)

What you will do

• Install and maintain nitrogen on-site generation equipment and bulk medical or industrial gas systems.
• Support cryogenic bulk installations at hirify.global facilities and customer sites.
• Restore and optimize pressure reduction equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, relays, and alarm systems.
• Install piping systems, coordinate hazard signage, maintain installation security, and conduct site surveys.
• Perform preventive maintenance and annual evaluations of bulk installation sites to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Maintain recommended parts inventory and respond to emergencies as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Brazer Certificate or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 21.
• Knowledge of cryogenic and high-pressure gases, pressure piping, compressors, electrical systems, and nitrogen generation equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, safety documentation, and operating manuals.
• Ability to work independently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, communicate with customers, and respond to emergencies.

Nice to have

• HVAC, refrigeration, or ASSE Medical Gas credentials.
• At least two years of industrial field service experience, preferably with gas generation systems.
• Experience with electrical systems, welding, silver brazing, regulator repairs, piping and liquid leak repairs, and cryogenic equipment troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of NFPA 99 and NFPA 55 requirements.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
