Senior Product Manager (Commercial & Contract Management, Construction & Engineering)

Location: Itasca, Illinois, United States; candidates must be based in Europe or North America and be willing to travel as required. The role offers a balance of remote and in-office work.

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 per year plus bonus.

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, market position, and roadmap for Commercial & Contract Management within hirify.global Construction & Engineering.
• Lead customer and market discovery with construction and engineering organizations, commercial managers, contract managers, procurement leaders, project controls teams, and finance stakeholders.
• Define product specifications, user workflows, acceptance criteria, prototypes, and success measures with engineering and design.
• Strengthen subcontract-management capabilities and connect customer contracts, procurement, supplier commitments, contract changes, and project financial outcomes.
• Build investment cases and support positioning, enablement, launches, adoption, retention, revenue influence, and commercial impact.
• Identify and develop AI-enabled capabilities for procurement, supplier management, contract administration, commercial risk, and contract change management.

Requirements

• Significant product-management experience in SaaS, ERP, construction-management, project-management, procurement, or enterprise software.
• Direct experience with commercial management, contract management, procurement, subcontract management, project controls, or related enterprise software capabilities.
• Strong domain experience in construction, engineering, EPC, infrastructure, contracting, specialist subcontracting, or other project-centric industries.
• Experience owning product strategy, roadmap, discovery, delivery, launch, and adoption, with strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Technical fluency in architecture, APIs, data models, integrations, and AI, plus experience collaborating with global engineering and design teams.
• Fluent English communication skills; based in Europe or North America and willing to travel as required.

Nice to have

• Experience in construction commercial management, quantity surveying, procurement management, contract administration, or project controls.
• Familiarity with construction contracting models, construction ERP, project controls, procurement, contract management, or capital-project platforms.
• Experience with project accounting, forecasting, cost controls, earned value, payments, revenue management, pricing, monetization, or product P&L ownership.
• Experience modernizing enterprise software, introducing AI-enabled capabilities, or creating design-partner and lighthouse-customer programs.
• Degree or equivalent experience in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying, business, computer science, or a related discipline.
