Sr. Solutions Architect - Services Presales - Microsoft Fabric & Data Engineering (AI)

Location: US - Remote

Base salary: $128,000–$176,000 per year. Estimated on-target earnings, including bonus and commissions: $160,000–$250,000.

What you will do

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements, business goals, and technical pain points.
• Design and present Microsoft Fabric and Azure data solutions, including architecture, implementation roadmaps, cost estimates, and statements of work.
• Lead discovery sessions, technical workshops, assessments, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts for enterprise clients.
• Architect end-to-end data platforms using OneLake, Data Factory, Spark, data warehousing, and real-time analytics.
• Design data ingestion, transformation, storage, ETL/ELT, streaming, and processing architectures on Azure.
• Partner with data governance and AI architecture teams to support governed data pipelines and scalable AI/ML and LLM workloads.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale data solutions and conducting services presales.
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Event Hubs, and Azure Stream Analytics.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, data modeling, and pipeline design.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.

• Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification.
• Azure Data Analyst Associate (DA-100/DA-200) certification.
• Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) certification.
