Data Architect (Microsoft Fabric)

What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end data architectures, including data models, ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Lead ingestion strategies for databases, APIs, flat files, and streaming data.
• Develop, manage, and secure API integrations across platforms.
• Architect and maintain data solutions across multiple cloud environments.
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, compliance, performance, and cost optimization.
• Support dashboards and reports that provide insights for business stakeholders, while documenting architectural standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or business intelligence in corporate environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and related tools.
• Experience with data ingestion, transformation, ETL/ELT pipelines, relational and dimensional data modeling, and modern data governance and security.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills, plus API design and management experience with RESTful APIs and OAuth.
• Knowledge of AWS services including Athena, RDS, Glue, Kinesis, and S3; Azure knowledge; and proficiency with Tableau.

Nice to have

• Experience with ETL applications or other modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, data cataloging, and metadata management.
• Microsoft or AWS certifications, such as Azure Data Engineer or AWS Certified Data Analytics.
