Sensor Network Field Agent (Energy Monitoring)

Location: Oklahoma, United States; on-site. The role requires weekly travel across the United States, with overnight stays from Monday through Thursday, for up to 44 weeks per year.

What you will do

• Identify optimal sensor installation sites using online mapping tools and satellite imagery, research land ownership, and negotiate access agreements with private landowners.
• Install, troubleshoot, and calibrate Electro-Magnetic Field sensors and camera systems along powerline rights-of-way.
• Manage autonomous field operations, including route planning, site selection, driving, and flying across the United States.
• Upload site details, sensor data, and operational updates to company databases.
• Inspect sites, resolve hardware issues, and manage vegetation growth to maintain sensor performance.
• Coordinate with Sensor Network Operations Managers, Data Analysts, and Finance through Slack and Salesforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or at least three years of relevant operational or technical field experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build trust and negotiate with landowners.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools, voltmeters, ladders, and performing physical site preparation.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel weekly across the United States.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Landman, Right-of-Way agent, or in real estate and title research.
• Familiarity with transmission powerlines, oil and gas pipelines, or energy monitoring infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with GIS software such as QGIS, aerial mapping tools, or Salesforce.
