Artificial Intelligence Researcher (Generative AI)

Location: Remote across France; proximity to the Paris region is an advantage.

What you will do

• Research generative AI and agentic AI, including LLMs, multimodal models, tool-augmented agents, and agentic workflows.
• Design, prototype, and evaluate specialized AI agents for end-to-end insurance claims workflows.
• Translate business problems into agentic systems using task decomposition, context and prompt design, tool integration, memory strategies, and advanced evaluation.
• Own AI systems from problem formulation and benchmarking through production deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Build internal frameworks, benchmarks, and shared tooling for experimentation and industrialization.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure scalability and measurable business impact.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience designing and deploying AI systems, with strong exposure to generative AI and LLM-based architectures.
• Practical experience with prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, tool-augmented agents, and systematic AI evaluation.
• Proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks, including Microsoft Agent Framework, OpenAI Agents SDK, and LangGraph.
• Comfort using coding agents such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex.
• Business-fluent English is required; French fluency is an advantage.

• Experience developing and deploying AI agents in production.
