Senior Expert Geo/GIS Solutions

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. Flexible hybrid work model with 8–10 in-office days per month.

What you will do

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into Geo/GIS solution designs.
• Combine spatial data, GIS information, and network performance data to produce valuable geographical analyses.
• Design, develop, and implement GIS applications, scripts, self-service spatial analysis tools, and geoprocessing solutions.
• Define the strategy, architecture, implementation, and consolidation of Geo/GIS applications and services.
• Manage projects across their full lifecycle, including suppliers, budgets, schedules, quality, and delivery.
• Coordinate international teams and test implemented applications with clients to verify that solutions meet business needs.

Requirements

• Degree in telecommunications, computer science, geoinformatics, or a related field, with at least 5 years of professional experience in telecommunications or IT.
• Strong knowledge of GIS tools, geoprocessing software, network data, and OSS systems, especially Geo/GIS systems.
• Strong programming skills in Shell and Python and strong database knowledge, particularly Oracle.
• Deep knowledge of telecommunications IT and network technologies, including Radio Access, Core, IMS, Fixed Access, and Transport & Transmission.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with international, multicultural, distributed, and remote teams.
