XPLORER 2027 Air-to-Air Refuelling Systems (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Complete a six-month curricular practicum from February to July 2027.
• Develop a final-year Bachelor’s Degree project on an active control system for an air-to-air refuelling stabilization device.
• Develop control logic for an actuation system operating in flight.
• Evaluate different control strategies using a real prototype and/or simulation.
• Work with an assigned tutor for continuous project monitoring.

Requirements

• Currently studying an Engineering degree.
• English at minimum B2 level.
• Spanish at minimum B1 level.
• General engineering knowledge and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work in international environments.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of control systems.
• Experience with programming tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.
• English at C1 level.
