City Operations Manager (Electric Mobility)

Location: On-site in Manchester, England, United Kingdom, with responsibility for Manchester and Edinburgh operations

Salary: £38,000–£42,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Lead Manchester and Edinburgh hub operations and execute growth plans for revenue, profit, and market share.
• Oversee retail sales, fleet management, inventory control, logistics, customer service, and regional P&L.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop mechanics, technicians, and customer service representatives.
• Manage customer relationships, resolve service issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Direct vehicle maintenance, repairs, inventory levels, safety, compliance, and operating standards.
• Develop marketing initiatives, local partnerships, and community outreach to expand demand.

Requirements

• 2+ years of successful area management experience in retail, vehicle leasing, or a related field.
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, data analysis, and P&L management.
• Operational experience covering inventory, logistics, fleet maintenance, and team management.
• Strong customer service, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with market expansion, go-to-market planning, and campaign execution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant fleet management or POS software; basic electric vehicle and mechanical knowledge is preferred.
