Okta Services Architect (IAM)

Location: Canada; remote

Salary: CAD 70–77 per hour

hirify.global is an IAM professional services firm specializing in designing, deploying, and managing end-to-end identity and access management programs for organizations across North America.

What you will do

• Lead discovery sessions and gather business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Design scalable and secure enterprise IAM solutions using Okta.
• Define IAM strategies, standards, governance frameworks, Statements of Work, solution scope, and delivery approaches.
• Guide delivery teams, conduct architecture reviews and customer health checks, and drive ongoing optimization.
• Define interoperability best practices across IAM and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with Sales, Professional Services, customers, senior leaders, and business stakeholders on solutioning and delivery.

Requirements

• Okta Certified Architect or Okta Consultant certification required.
• 8+ years of experience in IT, solution architecture, or software development, including 4+ years in IAM architecture and design.
• 5+ years of consulting experience with enterprise customers.
• Strong experience designing and implementing Okta-based solutions.
• Deep knowledge of IAM concepts including SSO, MFA, RBAC, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and Active Directory.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, enterprise integrations, discovery workshops, technical solution definition, and senior stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ping, SailPoint, Saviynt, or Microsoft Identity.
• Knowledge of security architecture, cryptography, and Zero Trust principles.
• Experience with distributed systems, application architecture, programming, DevOps tools, or version control systems.
• TOGAF, CISSP, or similar certifications.
