What you will do
- Design and build core components of the software platform, including backend services, APIs, and supporting infrastructure.
- Contribute to algorithms and implement novel AI capabilities.
- Translate research concepts and prototypes into maintainable, production-ready software.
- Design systems for large-scale reasoning and inference workloads using concurrent, parallel, and distributed architectures.
- Make architectural decisions focused on performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with researchers, infrastructure engineers, and application specialists through code reviews and technical design discussions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong professional software engineering experience with significant technical ownership.
- Excellent proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Rust, Elixir, Python, C, Java, F#, or Haskell.
- Strong software design foundations, including functional and object-oriented approaches.
- Experience designing and building concurrent, parallel, or distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, plus hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude or Codex.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI, machine learning, scientific computing, inference, optimization, or computationally intensive workloads.
- Early-stage startup experience or experience working in a distributed or remote engineering environment.
- DevOps or platform engineering experience.
- Experience turning research or experimental software into reliable production systems.
