Mechanical Engineer (Automotive)

hirify.global designs and manufactures technologies and systems for commercial vehicle, automotive, off-highway, and agricultural vehicle manufacturers, including driveline, vision, emissions, safety, security, and monitoring systems.

What you will do

• Maintain and improve products already in mass production through design changes and design verification activities.
• Support production in resolving quality issues and lead technical investigations to identify root causes.
• Coordinate and execute engineering change activities across products and processes.
• Use Siemens NX, CAD, and PDM systems including Teamcenter and Pro.File to manage product designs, documentation, and engineering data.
• Collaborate with product development, operations, project teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Contribute technical expertise to DFMEAs, product innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering tool development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 5–7 years of product development experience with hands-on 3D CAD experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive development standards and quality processes, including DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, 8D, and requirements management.
• Experience with engineering change management, bills of materials, supplier collaboration, and prototype procurement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, reliability engineering, laboratory, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens NX, Pro.File PDM, supply chain processes, plastics and injection molding, or die casting.
• Dutch language skills.
