Engineering Draftsperson (AutoCAD)

Location: Predominantly onsite at the Geelong Refinery, 90 Refinery Road, Corio, Australia; regular site attendance is required. Some remote work may be accommodated where appropriate.

What you will do

• Provide multidisciplinary drafting support across process, safety, mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, civil and site layout drawings.
• Produce, revise and maintain 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and raster editing tools.
• Update controlled drawings from approved redline mark-ups, field information and engineering inputs.
• Conduct site inspections and field verification to confirm existing plant conditions and support as-built documentation.
• Clarify incomplete or conflicting information with engineers, technicians, operations, maintenance and project personnel.
• Progress drawings through checking, approval, revision control and release while maintaining accurate records in Lunr.

Requirements

• At least five years of multidisciplinary engineering drafting experience, ideally in refining, petrochemical, oil and gas, or another heavy industrial environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Raster Design or equivalent raster editing software.
• Experience updating drawings from redline mark-ups and verified field information.
• Experience with electrical and instrumentation drawings; P&ID experience is highly regarded.
• Experience working in brownfield and hazardous-area facilities, with knowledge of engineering drawing standards, revision control and as-built processes.
• Ability and willingness to work predominantly onsite at the Geelong Refinery, Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience in refining, petrochemical, oil and gas, or another heavy industrial environment.
• Experience with P&ID drawings.
