Principal Signal and Power Integrity Engineer (PCB)

What you will do

• Design complex PCBs for high-speed interfaces, power delivery, RF, and high-density interconnect applications.
• Own the full PCB design process from feasibility studies through DFM and Gerber release.
• Develop layouts that meet signal integrity, power integrity, design-for-test, and design-for-manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with electrical design teams and cross-functional partners to develop connectivity systems.
• Independently solve complex design problems and lead intense hands-on layout work.
• Support PCB manufacturing and assembly processes, including PCB and PCBA engineering changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience designing complex PCBs with 40,000+ pins and 30+ layers.
• Experience with high-speed differential pairs, RF, high-power designs, and high-density interconnects.
• Proficiency with PCIe Gen5/6, Ethernet 112G/224G PAM4, and DDR4/5 PCB designs.
• Experience with micro-vias, blind vias, any-layer HDI, back-drilling, sequential lamination, and step gold fingers.
• Proficiency in Cadence Allegro, Polar SI9000, CAM350 or similar DFM tools, AutoCAD, PCB design rules, constraint management, and checklists. Professional spoken and written English is required.
