Materials Handler - Temporary

Location: Broussard, Louisiana, United States; onsite warehouse and delivery work

Salary: $19.23–$30.29 per hour. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $23.80–$35.82 per hour.

What you will do

• Receive, allocate, move, put away, and pick materials across onsite and offsite warehouse locations.
• Fill customer orders and coordinate domestic deliveries with freight forwarders.
• Maintain inventory records, fixed-asset registers, and asset tracking information.
• Operate forklifts, inspect equipment, and report required maintenance.
• Analyze inventory data and support supply chain improvement projects.
• Coordinate with supervisors, internal departments, and external customers to support order fulfillment.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Must successfully pass and maintain all DISA program requirements, including drug and alcohol testing.
• At least 2 years of experience managing inventory, materials, and stockroom activities.
• Experience arranging logistical movements and knowledge of forklift operation and safety requirements.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb regularly and push or pull cargo of at least 75 lb.
• Strong communication, organization, accuracy, multitasking, and time-management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Business One or a comparable ERP inventory management tool.
• Advanced Excel skills.
