2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Corporate Finance & Risk – Internal Audit

Location: New York, NY; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $20.00–$35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support internal audit projects and collaborate with experienced audit professionals.
• Assist with department-wide process improvement and transformation initiatives.
• Perform testing for external audit controls over financial statements and model audit rules.
• Analyze data, facts, and business information to identify meaningful insights.
• Learn about Guardian’s Finance and Risk organization, products, services, and business processes.
• Build relationships with leaders, mentors, colleagues, and fellow interns.

Requirements

• Current college junior graduating in May 2028.
• Coursework in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to analyze information, ask insightful questions, and connect risks, controls, and business processes.
• Availability for the full internship program from May 27 through August 6, 2027.
• U.S. work authorization without company sponsorship is required; H-1B, TN, and OPT candidates requiring future H-1B sponsorship will not be considered.
