Associate Investment Operations Analyst Intern (Finance)

What you will do

• Support trade verification, affirmation, settlement, and operational processing across equities, fixed income, derivatives, private equity, and investment strategies.
• Reconcile trades, positions, cash balances, collateral, income collections, and corporate actions, escalating discrepancies when needed.
• Maintain investment data in internal systems and portfolio accounting platforms.
• Communicate time-sensitive information to portfolio managers, traders, brokers, custodians, fund accountants, and internal stakeholders.
• Generate investment reports and operational dashboards and support audits, internal reviews, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to account onboarding, process documentation, system enhancements, automation, and cross-functional improvement projects.

Requirements

• Current junior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance or Economics, with graduation expected in December 2027 or May 2028.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher and a strong academic record.
• Analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and team-oriented approach.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work full time during the 12-week summer internship.
• Ability to work in the United States indefinitely without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• General knowledge of accounting, capital markets, settlement practices, and investment products.
• Exposure to Bloomberg Terminal.
