Mfg Quality Lead (Battery Manufacturing)

Location: Wuxi, China; onsite five days per week. Moderate travel of 25–50% is required. Relocation assistance is not available.

What you will do

• Lead in-process, pre-delivery, and customer-side quality for battery manufacturing.
• Provide manufacturing and assembly quality guidance to global engineering and supplier teams.
• Perform quality reviews, internal audits, investigations, and deviation reporting.
• Analyze statistical data and product specifications to establish quality and reliability objectives.
• Recommend improvements to manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and quality standards.
• Monitor supplier quality and support quality metrics across battery modules, strings, packs, inverters, chargers, and other power electronics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, manufacturing, quality, mechanical, or electrical engineering or technology.
• Experience or working knowledge of quality management systems, quality metrics, audits, and process improvement.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients, vendors, peers, engineering teams, and suppliers.
• Excellent spoken and written English is required.
• Ability to work onsite in Wuxi five days per week and travel 25–50%.
