Business Architect (SQL/Hadoop/Hive/AI)

Location: In-office in Strongsville, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, or Birmingham, AL, United States

Base salary: $91,000–$202,800 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Design business and data architecture through needs analysis, problem resolution, and outcome estimation.
• Deliver technical roadmaps, business process models, application blueprints, data models, and system-layer designs.
• Analyze business requirements, technical gaps, and application options supporting business strategies.
• Provision data for risk assessments, quality assurance, downstream demand, and routine issue resolution.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders and incorporate client feedback into technology deliverables.
• Estimate the effectiveness of architecture outcomes and ensure alignment with standards and processes.

Requirements

• University or college degree, typically a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, modeling, interpretation, and technical communication skills.
• Ability to create and troubleshoot SQL and working knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, and Impala.
• Experience documenting data requirements and performing data analysis for downstream demand.
• Ability to work in-office in one of the listed United States locations; hirify.global does not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT.

Nice to have

• Artificial intelligence and machine learning knowledge.
• Python programming experience.
• Enterprise architecture, business process modeling, consulting, and risk assessment experience.
