TL;DR
Supply Collaboration Engineer I (Manufacturing): Managing supplier part development, quality feedback loops, and supply strategies for new product introductions and product improvements with an accent on APQP, PPAP, cost management, and supplier collaboration. Focus on driving value analysis and value engineering, applying lessons learned across the supply base, and developing competitive supply networks.
Location: Wuxi, Jiangsu, China; onsite five days a week

What you will do
- Manage part development and quality feedback loops for New Product Introduction, Continuous Product Improvement, and New Source Introduction activities.
- Manage Advanced Product Quality Planning and cost activities from concept through PPAP, ensuring quality, total cost, and timeline targets.
- Collaborate with suppliers, design control engineers, value chain engineering, procurement, packaging, transportation, business resources, and supply chain teams.
- Implement product supply strategies aligned with category management strategies and develop an integrated supply network.
- Ensure lessons learned from quality defects are applied across the supplier base.
- Drive Value Analysis and Value Engineering through cost modeling, design for manufacturability, and supplier capabilities.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience desired.
- Knowledge of data-driven decision-making and analytical techniques.
- Knowledge of cost-benefit analysis and cost management.
- Knowledge of supplier management, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal collaboration skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Wuxi five days a week.
