Shipping Specialist (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Monitor customs laws and regulations, conduct compliance audits, and implement corrective actions.
• Classify tariffs, prepare import and export documentation, submit permits through TradeNet/CrimsonLogic, and manage Strategic Goods permits.
• Coordinate shipment packaging, labeling, warehouse handling, customs clearance, and delivery tracking.
• Work with logistics, finance, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
• Maintain customs records, GST permits, audit trails, and monthly submission documentation.
• Track freight and packaging costs, upload and analyze logistics expenses, and manage vendor billing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or another business-related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, customs affairs, import/export shipments, packaging, or customs clearance.
• Experience with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
• Familiarity with TradeNet/CrimsonLogic and strong skills in data analysis, reporting, negotiation, and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent English and Mandarin required for collaboration with cross-border teams, particularly stakeholders in China.
• Fully onsite work in Singapore is required.
