Location: On-site laboratory position in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; occasional schedule adjustments or overtime may be required. Only U.S. persons are eligible because of U.S. export control requirements.
Salary: $63,200–$100,900 per year, with potential eligibility for discretionary bonus, incentive compensation, or equity.

What you will do
- Execute high-throughput manufacturing workflows for DNA, mRNA, and Lipid Nanoparticle materials.
- Prepare and process samples, reagents, consumables, and production materials using manual and automated laboratory equipment.
- Operate integrated liquid-handling systems and other production instrumentation.
- Complete production records and digital documentation while maintaining quality, safety, data integrity, and material traceability.
- Monitor processes, troubleshoot routine equipment and workflow issues, and support investigations with technical experts.
- Coordinate production activities with Research Analytics, Quality Control, Engineering, Automation, and Informatics teams while supporting peer onboarding and training.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, biotechnology, engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent education and manufacturing experience may be considered.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory or manufacturing workflows in a quality-focused, regulated, or fast-paced environment.
- Experience operating laboratory instrumentation, automated equipment, or integrated production systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and produce accurate, reproducible results.
- Strong documentation, data integrity, material traceability, quality, laboratory safety, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Must work on-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts, meet laboratory gowning and physical requirements, and qualify as a U.S. person under export control regulations.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-throughput, automation-enabled, or plate-based laboratory operations.
- Experience with Hamilton liquid handlers or comparable automated liquid-handling platforms.
- Familiarity with molecular DNA assembly, plasmid production, in vitro transcription, RNA purification, LNP formulation, or related analytical methods.
- Experience with electronic batch records, LIMS, MES, inventory systems, or production tracking applications.
- Experience with Lean, 5S, process optimization, operational metrics, peer training, or continuous improvement.
