Associate Manufacturing I - Nights (Biotechnology)

Location: Onsite in West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States. The role requires rotating 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with administrative Monday–Friday hours during the 2–6 week onboarding period.

Salary: $70,985.20–$96,038.80 annually, plus a 15% night-shift differential and premium pay for Sundays worked.

What you will do

• Perform high-volume manufacturing operations according to standard operating procedures.
• Operate in laminar flow hoods and monitor critical manufacturing processes.
• Complete routine validation protocols and draft or revise manufacturing procedures, SOPs, and technical reports.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting, review documentation, and own deviations when assigned.
• Support cross-functional teams and implement CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain an inspection-ready workspace, organize manufacturing inventory, and use Delta V and electronic batch records to complete operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience; or an associate degree plus 6 months of relevant experience; or a related bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour night shifts, averaging 14 shift days per month with every other weekend off.
• Experience or knowledge in manufacturing operations, biotechnology, aseptic processing, GMP, or related production environments.
• Ability to apply basic chemistry, biology, physical principles, statistical mathematics, and analytical methods.
• Basic troubleshooting, technical writing, documentation review, and computer-system skills are required for the manufacturing floor.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• Knowledge of large-scale biotechnology operations, single-use systems, CFR and regulatory requirements, or laboratory equipment.
• Experience with Delta V, production equipment troubleshooting, project management, or presentations.
