Salary: $80,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

  • Support on-orbit satellite programs and help ensure mission objectives are met.
  • Support mission requirements management, system modeling and simulation, operational documentation, and on-orbit procedure development.
  • Support payload integration, laboratory integration, and formal testing, including Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Flat Sat testing.
  • Support satellite passes in the Payload Operations Center and execute mission operations procedures.
  • Run Satellite Tool Kit (STK) and contribute to satellite pass contact plans.
  • Execute daily standups and technical tasks based on program priorities under the guidance of Mission Operations and Systems Engineering leads.

Requirements

  • US citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
  • 0–3 years of experience in an engineering role.
  • Broad understanding of satellite systems, payloads, space Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), electrical engineering, software, and testing.
  • Ability to work with mission operations, satellite operations, and modeling and simulation environments.

Nice to have

  • Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
  • Experience in a Mission Operations Center or Satellite Operations Center.
  • Experience with modeling and simulation environments such as STK or AFSIM.
