Embedded Software Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid in Tukwila, Washington; willingness to work from Tukwila is required.

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 annually, plus 0.01%–0.05% equity.

hirify.global develops Otter satellite servicing missions for satellite life extension, orbital disposal, and spacecraft interaction.

What you will do

• Build core embedded software used across satellite systems.
• Develop software for relative navigation, robotics, grappling, and proprietary spacecraft mechanisms.
• Create software that controls spacecraft interactions and actuation systems.
• Work with varied compute hardware and processor architectures.
• Develop and use hardware-in-the-loop and processor-in-the-loop systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing embedded software products.
• Experience creating and working with HIL and PIL systems.
• Working knowledge of Python and C++.
• Must be a US person under ITAR requirements, such as a US citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual.
• Willingness to work from Tukwila, Washington in a hybrid arrangement.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
