Specialist, Supply Chain Planning (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Aurora, Illinois, supporting 24/5 and weekend operations

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year, with actual pay dependent on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production schedules for assigned manufacturing lines and work centers.
• Translate customer demand and supply requirements into executable production plans and production orders in ERP/MRP systems.
• Balance demand, inventory, capacity, labor, materials, and manufacturing constraints while sequencing production and minimizing changeovers.
• Monitor schedule performance, identify at-risk and past-due orders, and develop recovery plans with Production leadership.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Material Planning, Customer Service, Sales, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, and Supply Chain to communicate priorities, shortages, constraints, and customer impacts.
• Improve schedule adherence, on-time delivery, inventory, capacity utilization, ERP/MRP parameters, reporting, data accuracy, and standard work through Lean and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of experience in production planning, supply planning, manufacturing planning, or a related role.
• Manufacturing environment experience is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP, and advanced Excel or data-analysis capabilities.

Nice to have

• Power BI or other data-visualization experience.
• Capacity planning and constraint-management experience.
• Experience in discrete, batch, or complex manufacturing.
• Experience with MPS/MRP modules.
