Technical Program Manager II (Electrical Engineering)

Location: Onsite in Redmond, Washington, or Sunnyvale, California

Salary: $75–$80 per hour on W2

What you will do

• Define, implement, and deliver complex cross-functional programs within scope, quality, schedule, and budget constraints.
• Lead electrical engineering hardware initiatives from design through “OK to Fab,” including flexes, rigid boards, and hardware design processes.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, internal business teams, contractors, and overseas contract manufacturing vendors.
• Develop project schedules, status reports, communication plans, estimates, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Manage program-level issue and bug tracking, risk mitigation, contingency planning, and build matrices across configurations.
• Partner with executive leadership, influence matrixed teams, and drive issue resolution and delivery accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs, complex schedules, vendor coordination, and risk management in large organizations.
• Electrical engineering experience, including coordination with engineering teams, milestone scheduling, and escalation of key issues and risks.
• Experience with program issue and bug tracking, project estimating, scheduling, and tracking.
• Strong people management, team-building, communication, judgment, and collaboration skills.
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions within large-scale, multi-platform environments.

Nice to have

• Mandarin language proficiency.
• Experience developing field matrices with a wide range of configuration options.
• MBA or another related advanced degree.
• PMP or PMI certification.
