IT Software Engineer - .NET/Web

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States; hybrid schedule with 24 hours per week in the office for associates residing within 30 miles of an office. External candidates residing in Alabama, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Washington are not eligible.

Annual compensation: $90,000–$120,000, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Develop enterprise-wide, cross-functional software solutions.
• Participate in solution design for a broad range of business needs.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements, design documents, and specifications.
• Apply technology and security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Provide post-implementation support, monitor application performance, and debug existing code.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and determine how they can support business solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of software development experience.
• Strong relational database knowledge and experience with application integration.
• Knowledge of Microsoft .NET 8 or higher, C#, Microsoft IIS, REST web services, and Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, network or server infrastructure, analytical problem-solving, and team collaboration.
• Ability to obtain a United States Government security clearance and United States citizenship are required; foreign nationals cannot be hired for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile or iterative delivery approaches.
• Knowledge of NIST compliance.
