Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Remote within the United States, with travel to and onsite work at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and improve backend services and APIs for data-driven applications.
• Build scalable data pipelines and services for data ingestion, transformation, integration, and delivery.
• Develop reusable components, frameworks, and tooling for data processing and decisioning workflows.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, design, architecture, and data teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead or participate in technical design sessions, architecture reviews, prototyping, code reviews, and exploratory investigations.
• Improve performance, scalability, security, observability, maintainability, and team capability through engineering practices and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field; advanced degrees are preferred.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
• Strong proficiency in C# and backend development with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing and supporting production services, including availability, observability, performance, and maintainability.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD concepts and tooling, including build and release pipelines, automated tests, and quality gates.
• Working experience with Azure and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver incremental technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI-enabled development tools, code generation models, embedding models, vector search, or ML-driven insights.
• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
