Senior Credit Analyst (Commercial Lending)

Location: Remote in California or Bellevue, Washington, United States

Salary: $88,657–$104,303 annual starting salary, based on experience

What you will do

• Investigate credit and financial information for prospective and existing commercial clients.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flows, collateral support, and repayment sources for commercial loans.
• Independently evaluate complex credit relationships and develop credit recommendations with minimal guidance.
• Prepare spreadsheets, credit approval packages, credit proposals, financial summaries, and written opinions.
• Partner with lending teams on credit risk assessment and portfolio management.
• Support team leadership, train and mentor new team members, and maintain compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Credit Analyst.
• Strong expertise in complex financial statements, tax returns, credit information, and cash flow performance.
• Knowledge of credit investigations, collateral requirements, commercial lending concepts, accounting principles, and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and other business and lending systems.
• Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
