Learning and Instructional Design Support Specialist I (LMS)

Location: College Station, Texas, United States. Evening or weekend work may be required.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and resolve faculty and staff issues involving the LMS and other learning technologies.
• Provide triage support, training, and guidance through ticketing systems, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other communication platforms.
• Assist with course preparation, including assignments, due dates, gradebooks, group management, and third-party integrations.
• Test applications, integrations, and system configurations for readiness and reliability.
• Create and maintain user guides, workflows, training materials, and project documentation.
• Collect and summarize student feedback and coordinate course improvements with faculty and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; no prior experience is required.
• Knowledge of instructional design theories, educational technologies, and best practices for online learning.
• Experience with an LMS, Canvas or another LMS, faculty support, higher education, or digital learning environments is beneficial.
• Experience with ticketing systems, project management software, Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, or integrated learning technologies is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively.
