Electrical Co-op

Location: On-site in Duluth, Georgia, USA. Local client site visits may be required depending on experience and skill level.

What you will do

• Support project tasks under the guidance of engineers, lead designers, and senior designers.
• Collect information during field inspections, produce sketches, and interpret sketches prepared by others.
• Convert design sketches and mark-ups into AutoCAD or Revit drawings.
• Prepare and interpret P&IDs, motor/electrical/device lists, single- and three-line diagrams, panel schedules, power plans, and electrical schematics.
• Perform cable, conduit, cable tray, electrical load, transformer, starter, and lighting calculations.
• Coordinate project details, assemble drawing and deliverable packages, follow CAD standards, and manage multiple projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit and drafting skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work in an office and, when required, at construction or client sites, including environments with mechanical equipment, electrical hazards, fumes, noise, and changing weather conditions.
