Customs Operations Agent - Part Time (Logistics)

Location: In-office in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Work schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, approximately 12 hours per week, with additional hours possible based on business needs.

What you will do

• Review shipment and customs documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Enter, maintain, and update shipment information in company systems.
• Track cargo movements and maintain shipment records.
• Prepare documents using document conversion tools and organize electronic shipment files.
• Communicate with carriers, internal offices, operational teams, and government agencies when required.
• Follow standard operating procedures while maintaining data accuracy and customer confidentiality.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes, work independently, and follow established procedures.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in the office in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Nice to have

• Experience in customs brokerage, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Basic understanding of shipping or customs documentation.
