What you will do
- Prepare and compile documents required for foreign cargo discharge at a domestic port.
- Coordinate customs clearance and monitor customs broker procedures and reports.
- Serve as the main contact for existing and new customers, carriers, and transportation providers.
- Enter and verify system and documentation data.
- Prepare invoices, check costs, present billing information, and close completed jobs.
- Support customer meetings and resolve communication or cooperation issues.
Requirements
- Experience coordinating logistics, customs clearance, or transportation documentation.
- Ability to work with importers, shipping companies, airlines, railroads, trucking companies, pipeline operators, and customs authorities.
- Ability to follow customer-specific standard operating procedures accurately.
- Ability to perform system data entry, document checks, cost verification, and job closure.
